Garden of Eden is about invisible damage or trauma caused by the bushfires. It's about my experience in Eden, NSW on New Year's Eve. It was devastating to see people suffer from fires and smoke in this town. I know that this experience was shared with hundreds of thousands of people from Mallacoota to Canberra to the Blue Mountains and beyond. Part of the healing process is to talk about the trauma and let people know they are not alone because I have been there with my loved ones too. I think now we are all on the same boat now due to the Coronavirus. I've lost some gigs and income, and I know everyone is feeling impacted. There is no better time to help each other and let others know how you feel. I want to share this song with you so much.

This EP features 3 melodic and emotional songs about love, hope and loss written by Kim Yang.
Track by Track rundown:
Ocean Of Mind Set to a melancholic soundtrack that builds to an uplifting crescendo, Ocean of Mind tells a story of struggle and support. It’s a tale about someone overwhelmed with life and drowning in insecurity, who is saved through the love and support of those around them.
Wake Me Up Wake Me Up is a powerful song about the balance between love and lust. Inspired by powerful vocalists and backed by a driving ukulele, Kim tells the story of a couple always on the edge of falling out of love.
Missed Chance After performing on national TV in Taiwan, Kim was trolled online and retreated from the limelight. Years later, Kim received a letter from an adoring fan encouraging her to ignore detractors and embrace her talent. Missed Chance is the deeply personal response to that letter.

“Kim Yang creates music for the soul. With her ethereal blend of sounds, she creates music that balances delicately between vulnerability and power. It feels simultaneously grounded and exploratory; it’s rooted in acoustic folk, but reaches far wider...”
“Kim Yang is an outstanding singer/songwriter who bridges cultures with songs about her experiences in both Taiwan and Australia. Kim made her first appearance at the National Folk Festival in 2019 exciting and engaging audiences with her fresh and honest style. I’m sure this will be the first of many” - Pam Merrigan
“Holy crap your voice is AMAZING - spellbinding even. You had me from the first melody and kept me enthralled all the way through to the end.” - Nkechi Anele
“Breathe taking; I felt like Kim had grabbed me by the hand and carried me through an amazing secret garden. There is a stillness in this much like walking through a forest, aware of how small we are in comparison to nature. It's humbling. Kim Yang is a force of nature, and she humbles me.”
