From the recording All Of You 你的所有
你的所有 (All Of You) is a love letter to all the big busy cities in the world, like Taipei, Hong Kong, Beijing, New York, Toronto… Asking to take our hand and show us everything, and take care of us, don’t let us feel scared or alone. The song is about all the sensations that come from exploring a big city. From the smells of street food, the sounds of people to the visual spectacle of lights. The city offers an array of joyful emotions but can also feel overwhelming when experienced alone at times. Written in part Chinese and English, this song is the first co-write between Hong Kong Canadian artist Tennyson King and Taiwanese Australian artist Kim Yang. Written in Australia and then recorded in Canada. It features traditional Chinese instruments like the Guzheng (Chinese plucked zither) performed by Lina Cao, and traditional Chinese drums performed by Bobby Ho.
